About the event

WORKSHOP DESCRIPTION:

How do we produce a thematically engaging, coherent show on a moment-to-moment basis... with no director? When art is created by committee, we rely on trust and honoring each others ideas, while never depriving the group of our own. There can be no "wrong moves" when the group collectively decides to embrace every contribution. This workshop will explore the basic tenets of group-minded improv, how they are put to best use in the non-scenic areas of what we do on stage (no prior experience necessary), the evolving definition of "group game", and where to look for the patterns and threads that it our piece together without relying too much on narrative.
